    Reckon only Hammill will get boos. Buttercup was one of our own and left for the premiership. Cranie was here a fair few years, captained us and didn't get offered a new contract. People won't like how cheaply Hammill left for due to his release clause that left us in the lurch.

    That said Jim O Brien ridiculously got a fair few boos last season against us so I guess anything can happen on the 1st.

    No idea mate. Dunno what he was on here. But it shows what we're up against. I only know what Jacob earns, and that's a salary we've never paid anyone, ever.

    Be refreshing if all three were given a bit of a clap, especially Hammill and Butterfield, who left for the Premier League dream after lighting up the second tier for a wee while for us. Cranie just because he seems an oreight sort.

    But there'll be boos. Panto innit?

    Hope none of them get boo's. They don't deserve them anyway.

    As for Cranie he was very popular until it was revealed he was our top earner. Since then plenty of people went off him. Good player in my opinion & I've never spoke to anyone in person that doesn't rate him but there seems to be a lot of dislike for him on here

    Should all get a warm reception. They gave there best when in a barnsley shirt and moved on to a better paid job, we'd all do the same.

    Bound to be boos. Could see the point more if we had someone like Brek Shea coming back. Interesting in the Huddersfield Examiner it saying Cranie is already looking to move from Wakefield to Huddersfield. Don't get why he can't commute still from Wakey. Won't make much difference to when he used to travel to Barnsley. Didn't want to live in Barnsley but does at his new club.

    I don't know any of them who live in Huddersfield. Most live in Leeds, Harrogate, York, Wetherby etc.
