RE: Hold on a minute I'll put bald tyres on the van to make it a bit more humane if that'll do it?
Then run over the daft chuff who arrested them and took over 28 days to find evidence for conviction.

RE: Hold on a minute we're wells hut of those types Eaststander. Ought to just lock em up and throw key away. Bugger trials.
Will this "terror suspect" be locked up for 42 days then ? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7449845.stm It makes you wonder why they bother arguing the toss over how long to hold suspects for when w@&^ers throw away documents like this ! (banghead) What's the chance of them being charged under the Official Secrets Act ? But then if they did, they'd only get a suspended sentence because all the prisons are full !
Yes, run people over with a van after they've been released without charge! It's not a solution to prison overcrowding as the people in question wouldn't be going to prison anyway.
You forgot UKIP. The Labour party for UK Independence and Democratic Union vs The Conservative Democrats. Nice ring to it.
RE: You're all over the place today aren't you? *Yawn* I never said that, indeed it would be churlish to suggest it didn't happen - but then you will read as you wish as it means avoiding issues. Imagined? Are you living in a bubble in Darton? There are plenty of people, including it should be said a majority of the British people, who are very concerned about the direction this government is taking our personal and national freedoms for both know and in the future. I know this notion is hard to swallow as it means you have to deal directly with issues and substance rather than accusing me of being some 'paranoid conspiracy nut' - but none the less they are all well documented and very real. I'd suggest you actually educate yourself on laws that have been both removed and put on the statute book before you start rattling off claims about 'imaginary loss of liberties'. Who knows, maybe one Animal Liberation Front bomb might put you on the terrorism list given your radical views on here regarding what should happen to people who harm animals.... Yes, quite right, there have been a few, but again you entirely miss the point. If the threat at this very moment was on such a large scale as we are led to believe, there is no way the police and security forces could stop someone, somewhere, from walking into a city centre and detonating a bomb if they wanted to. The fact that isn't happening on a regular basis should tell you that although there is *a threat*, it's nowhere near the scale the government would have us believe. What do you think all supposed number of extremists in the UK are doing? Sat around twiddling their thumbs? Sadly, you're as ignorant then as you are now. More projection. The only certainty in our conversations is the consistent level of abuse you throw at me. What was it the other week? Something about me being a "worthless human being"? You clearly have issues if you end up making those sort of comments during a bulletin board conversation. What kind of asinine thinking is this? The situation in Iraq had been consistently dire for a long time - to then turn around and say "We have to do something or it could get really bad" when all the indications showed it might make it worse is at best a leap in the dark and at worst morally contemptable. Quite where you were when people were warning of the dangers, lord only knows......

RE: "limp wristed pansies" going after terrorists? He was gobbing off with some vile/stupid nonsense first, I just told him he was speaking rot and being the neanderthal he was he saw the only way out as to threaten to lamp me. In front of his son. LOL Just goes to show eh?
