Bring on Rashid as the third choice spinner behind Livingstone and Ali despite him getting way more wickets against Australia than anyone ever, and guess what? Yes he makes the much needed breakthrough the other two couldn't get. Rubbish captaincy to not get him on sooner when we had them at fifty odd for two.

    Didn’t know it was 8.30 start …
You’re right DB, Rashid has a superb success rate against the Australians so .. game on.
    No Maxwell as well

Not bad for a third choice spinner is he :D Love his simple wicket celebration of a nice applause.

He’s had a poor tournament so he’s a lot to make up for.

I had a fiver on a wicket first ball at 20s on the basis that we're so hilariously bad that anything that can go wrong will go wrong.

    Cheers Jonny.

Well that’s a shocker … NZ got 400+ and Pakistan ended up winning on the DLS method after abandonment

They'd got halfway there though, losing only 1 wicket in half the available overs.

Yeah I agree with there not being a fairer way than the Duckworth thing.
I meant that NZ must have been somewhat shocked to lose

Required rate above seven so obviously Stokes prods and leaves for a Cummins maiden.

First ball of next over, well behind the rate, Buttler steps down to Zampa and holes out to long off. The ball did nothing, gun barrel straight - he’d mishit that for six any other time. Two wickets for six runs off the last four overs.

This team has become so bad so quickly it’s embarrassing. We will struggle to get 187 never mind 287.

At least we stopped them completely embarrassing us!

I half hope the Dutch best us aswell to be honest as I think finishing plumb last will force wholesale change.

As it is we will probably beat them comfortably and possibly go on to beat Pakistan, scrape champions trophy qualification and it will just be written off as a bad tournament with Mott and Buttler continuing. I’m not sure that’s in the better interests of the side.

I’d bring Baz in to coach everything, his approach would be brilliant for white ball cricket, and look to appoint a new captain. Stokes shouldn’t be in the side realistically so I’d look at other options.

There’s one thing for sure, changes are needed but contracts have been given to all this squad ( except Willey ) and a large majority of the last T20 squad.
There’s loads of sorting to be done and it’ll ultimately fall on Key unless he resigns of course

We’ve been a complete embarrassment in this World Cup. Wouldn’t surprise me if the Netherlands beat us too.
Some of the team selections baffle me for a start. If someone can explain to me the point of Liam Livingstone playing? Contributed next to nothing all tournament and still played yesterday before Harry Brook. Too many supposed all rounders picked ahead of specialists.
Buttler’s captaincy moving forward surely has to be questioned too. He’s not even worth a place in the side as a batsman.

Just on a flight and India - SA is on live. Not a clue about cricket, but if someone could tell me who I should want to win it'd be much appreciated.
