Obviously I didn't know that, and I am truly shocked. You have my support if that is the case.

Why would anyone send such pm's, especially to a fellow Reds supporter, and one who contributes so much to this forum?

To be fair, I was playing with Barnsley Loyal. He can call me what he wants. But however distasteful, my comments last night were not homophoboc. I suggest anybody who thinks otherwise, reads the definition of the word.

Yes, I'd suggest you start using the ignore button and stop responding to certain people, no matter how much they wind you up. I used to get annoyed with a certain negative poster from Wales, but I found that ignoring him was the best option.

Problem is though, what was intended as a forum for Reds fans to discuss the club, whether they agreed with each other or not, has turned into a site where people can't disagree any more without it rapidly descending to personal insults of the type that would never happen if the protagonists were sat round a table in the pub. With that, the extreme views (it still makes me laugh though when people start throwing their toys out of the pram five minutes into a game that they're not even at, only for us to come back and win the game!) and the people who post things just to get a reaction and start a row, this place has long ceased to be somewhere enjoyable to come to for reasoned debate about Barnsley FC. Indeed, if anyone at the club or any non-Reds fans thought that this place was representative of Reds fans as a whole (certainly Keith Hill and Don Rowing did) we would deserve every cliche and insult thrown at us.
