Can someone please share the story/ thing? if you can make a thread about it at least give us the proper information
I think he (Patrick) has had a very difficult time while as owner. He is an out and out fan which we all appreciate - and he has brought in some really good managers - including Lee Johnson - unfortunately for Patrick and for the rest of us, Patrick just hasn't had the funding to make things happen as he hoped they would. When ever Patrick decides to step down, I for one will be forever thankful to him.
Puts some of his recent comments, ie johnson last manager he will employ, and he will be gone before johnson in to perspective if he is leaving in a couple of weeks anyway.
It's a private group (I believe) so even having FB isn't enough, you have to be on his friends list. I'm pretty sure that some posters on here are.
This is a fair point. However, they obviously don't see his appointment as a mistake and support him. Their choice to make. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
You can't add cryne on Facebook unless you have friends in common with him. Which isn't me I don't mind though I'd probley do same if I was him wouldn't want a load of friend requests every week.
Anyone who thinks Patrick Cryne doesn't love BFC and isn't hurting just as much as the rest of us is a bloody idiot. To call for him to go without putting forward an alternative isn't much more sensible. I haven't got an alternative, so I won't be calling for him to go. However, I do question whether we'll ever be successful under his stewardship. That's not because I think he's incompetent, because I really don't. I'm not entirely incompetent (although I have my moments) but I don't believe I'd be any better at running a successful football club. Probably a damn site worse. Running a successful football club is a hell of a trick to pull off, particularly without the funds that the likes of Chelsea and Man City enjoy, but loving the club isn't enough. It might actually be a hindrance as you could be inclined to make decisions with your heart rather than your head. But me thinking that success will remain out of our reach while Patrick Cryne is in charge doesn't make it so. There are no assurances that things will get better if he leaves. There's nothing to say we would have been performing better had he left earlier. Had he never become involved at all the chances are things could have been much, much worse. What I think and what everyone else thinks, whether you believe Mr Cryne has a positive or negative influence on the club, doesn't matter. As I wrote last week, you can turn 99% of the criticism off (and the praise should you choose to, although I would imagine that is in short supply at the moment, and even when we're doing well it goes to the manager and the players). What matters is what Patrick Cryne believes. If he believes he can bring success to the club (and he still wants to), then he should stay, and ignore the criticism. If he doesn't then he should do what he believes is right. But don't make a decision on what any of us think, just don't read it.

It's an overreaction. He needs to rectify two immediate mistakes The head coach The recruitment strategy Then see where we are If he offered paid places on the board to open it up to others there would be a couple of takers. Share the load a little
I think every Barnsley fan should read it too. However... I'm not certain on the law regarding this, so don't take it as gospel, but I believe postings on facebook are covered by copyright. You've obviously included the author's name (without it it wouldn't make any sense) so there's no issue with you trying to pass it off as your own, but when articles are re-published the usual courtesy is to ask the author's permission. There's nothing sensitive in it that will embarrass Mr Cryne and you're not seeking financial gain by publishing it, but it should remain the author's decision where his words are published. I'm not having a go, and I'm not even suggesting Mr Cryne doesn't want it read by others, I don't know, but if you're a Facebook friend of his, maybe it would be worth asking him? I don't think he would cause trouble for you, but it maybe within his right to do so if he so wishes. That might not be the case, I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure your intention isn't to piss him off which this may do without first seeking his permission.
