I was guessing....

personally don't care how long it was....

my point still being, the major cause of our "administration" was purely down to the lack of money received that was supposed to come from ITV...

Maybe it would have still happened a couple of years later anyway, but the "straw that broke the camels back" so to speak was ITV.

RE: Don't think we can use ITV as an excuse

ITV Digital went into administration in March 2002 because they couldn't restructure the amount to FL clubs including ourselves.
    BFC relegated in May 2002.
BFC went into administration in October 2002.

ok... so the collapse of ITV digital didn't affect us as much as the teams that remained in 'the championship' ?

or are you saying we didn't get the money for the 2001/02 season that was nearly over ?

Depends - if prize money was awarded based upon finishing positions, then we would not have received that money from the 2001-2 season.

don't think it was prize money as it was stated as sponsership and the clubs got £3m each. The question is whether BFC had received the money for the 01/02 season. If not then it could have had a direct effect on the administration of the club.
