I agree entirely with that. I'm not one of Mellis's biggest fans, purely because some games, he just looks disinterested, however I feel when he plays to the potential he quite clearly has, he's an exceptional player. He makes things happen, when Mellis has a good game, the team has a good game. When he doesn't, we seem to lack his creative input. For me, he blows cold more often than hot, which is very frustrating.
That's just how flair players play. If Mellis could be consistently game changing every match he wouldn't be playing for us or anyone else at this level. It will be the same with MCCourt. Indeed he demonstrated it last night with sone badly misplaced passes and dribbles in dangerous area. You need them in the team with colleagues who are more consistent (Perkins and Fox) to cover for when they are less productive.
