Nearly £7million for that lot of players if memory serves me right Stones £3m Jacob £1.2m (ish) Vaz Te £500k Hammill £500k Golbourne 750k Howard wasn't it 200k rising to 400/500k? O'Grady at least the 400k we paid for him.. And we've had our pants pulled down with all of the above apart from Golbourne, we must have missed out on £5 million for the above.
Not disputing some other clubs sell similar amounts of players. But that's all through one manager. If he left, I'd expect it to dry up again. And Hill was involved in the development of quite a few of those listed at your end too....
We received 700K up front. The 'add on' clauses never materialised. Boro only paid 350k for him n all. Cheap as chips he is.
Wonder if Boro will accept £200,000 for him......... Surprised at that though. Norwich made a big loss on a good player. Should have stuck with him. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Glad they didn't want him. He's back up north which makes for a happier family life, and at a decent club who look set for a tilt at the top six. Just hope he's given the chance to be a part of it.
Aye. The Bury lot are now doubting their initial judgements. Not joining their network to find out, but it's understandable that they believe anyone who turns up to training has an Oakwell or Spotland link.
Stones and Butterfield under Hill? I'd credit the academy guys more for Stones. Butterfield, worked under previous managers, I'd credit Robins as much as Hill.
And Davies was lined up to sign before Hill's arrival with a CoG being signed by Flitcroft. Still best not let the facts get in the way... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
