after seeing his (excellent) passing last year...

    centre midfield. Instead of McPhail.

Ball of the season, home to Chesterfield, held ball up to allow Kay to leg it down pitch and then perfect dink into his path.

In fact, what with his inability to touch a ball with his right foot, he might very well BE McPhail.

I'm afraid I can't advocate left back, not if I'm busy saying Robbie will never make it cos he's too slow.

    RE: In changing room?

I'm trying to find the lad a pog.

His first touch last night was deft, but by the time he'd sorted out in his head what his next move would be the Scunny defenders were on him. That's another point, how come Scunny could have 3 defenders round Nardy and Hayes at any given time yet the rest of our team couldn't find any space ? This football malarkey's just wrong.

Robbie's strength will get him through this year. And imho he was missed massively last night.

I was referring to the fact you thought his best position was centre half when at least four managers don't.

    Could be centre half..

and seeing as two out of those four managers have/would let him go, perhaps he ought to try summat else?

Ok then - let's start the McPhail debate!!

Got the game by the scruff of the neck lastnight in the second half - making him Captain will bring out the best in him!

    He was sorely missed

am hoping he makes LM berth his own. But reckon he'll not be given the chances "big" signings like McP and Howard have had/will have.

He'll be left back by Sept, reserves by Oct.

was best player on pitch in patches...

but greasy pitch meant his passes just overran forwards. Instrumental in THAT 15 mins of pressure. It's the other 75 mins that needs looking at.

    I did not say that..

he had not been...he's surprised me so far this season....long may it continue...a few more goals and then were talking

but at least he's shooting now...I've counted about 10 shots so far this season..thats got to be more than last!!

As for promotion winning squad. Get us a decent keeper in (we've got one) A leader of a centre half and a **** in the midfield and perhaps a better "target man" and we'll do summat
