    I fricking well did.

    Lake Louise, Banff &amp; Sunshine  New Year 2004.</p>

    Never reached above about -30 for a week and I'm talking daytime temps.</p>

    Ski one run then in for a coffee.</p>

    No exposed skin, full face masks and goggles. Chemical heating pads in the gloves..still fricking freezing.</p>

    When I pay a grand to go skiing, I go skiing.</p>

    Even the locals in Banff were staying indoors.</p>

    RE: UP here we use birch wood!

    Our building is brick I'm afriad. Luckily electricity and gas cost fck all here. Our last electricity bill was 84 quid. For the year!

    biggest problem at those temps is the snow

    its stops been slippy about those temps!
