Dale Jennings: ‘My daughter’s had cancer twice – it gave my Bayern struggles perspective. I want to be a pro again’ https://theathletic.com/2576971/202...to-be-a-pro-again/?source=user_shared_article
Remember him playing away at Fleetwood where the coaching staff were throwing those energy gel packs to him every few minutes , he did a 10 Yard sprint and looked totally shattered . Think he hit the cross bar from 30yrd before being taken off , a sympathetic fan near us shouted ‘ Chuck him a Mars bar he’ll run for that ‘ !! He didn’t really look as if he should have been on as football pitch didn’t look well at all
Just signed for another new club..... https://www.ramsbottomunited.co.uk/new-signing-dale-jennings/ Hope he still manages to work his way back to a Football league club as he's still young enough at 28.
Mid-table team in the eighth tier. And if he could get fully physically and mentally fit he’d do a job in at least the third tier you’d think. Hope he goes well.
Great read, thanks for posting, but what a tough time he and his family have had. Hope his little girl is now clear of that horrible fekin Cancer. Good luck and best wishes to all of them
Hopefully has time to work himself back up the leagues and earn some decent minute with the remaining years he could have as a pro. Bless, and best of luck
It's very odd that a pro club with pro physios couldn't sort the lad out. I run up to 50- 60 miles a week and have had bad shin splits. I cured mine quite easily with an exercise band and two exercises. The exercise were Ankle Dorsiflexion and Ankle Plantarflexion. I got rid in a week and they haven't come back.
