One thing that is clear from this incident alone is that prostitution should be made legal so that they can move them off the streets and into 'safe houses. Do the local police know the true figure of missing 'sex workers'??? I would imagine not because allot of them would have been ignored by there families, and only have contact with pimps, etc meaning they are never reported as missing.

Lets follow the way of other countries.

"They have a job to do" ??? Jeez, do you think that some sweaty creep hounding innocent people to get their stinky paws on tainted money is doing a job? Parasites.
If the press have any role in catching the killer then it won't having anything to do with scraping up details of the victims' background and families or highlighting trauma. It's doubtful whether publicity is even useful in this case as it may be stimulating the killer to commit more murders.
