RE: It would be a start! nt

He might spark into life in the last 8 games of the season, ala Nardiello.

Can he be any worse than Odejayi?

    Doubt it.

Only as big a gamble as bringing in a L2 player, and they are asking for 5-10k a week. What if we take a player like Ward on and it didn't work out? As for players who have Championship pedigree, it looks like we a) can't afford them, b) can't attract them. If Davey doesn't sign from abroad the only other option is to not sign anyone. I am a bit disappointed it has come to this too but it is all we can do. And we are desperate for players to come in. As long as the deal is right, and he must have impressed during his trial, then we have to take him if he wants to come here.

On a side note, maybe the Maltese connection will attract Misfud to us?

Got plenty of Championship experience and is available and nearly out of contract. Who knows? SD brought 2 Hungarians in to play together so why not 2 Maltese.

He's still got 18 months to run on his contract in Bulgaria

He won't be signing for us on a performance related short term contract. I have no idea if he's signing for us or not, but it won't be on the cheap if he does.

    Course he can

Do you think the majority of players who have forged a career in the league of Malta are better than Odejayi? It's only one level up from a local pub league. I don't know owt about the guy but he definitely can be a hell of a lot worse than Odejayi.
