"I am a goalscorer not a target man. I like to play football - I was born with a gift and that is to put the ball in the net."

    let's hope so.

Michael Mifsud spent most of his career in Malta.

And lot's of people would love to have him. He was untried before Coventry signed, and he's been a great acquisition for them

Who know's. Bogdanovic may be a good signing for us. Here's hoping.

Well, Costly hasn't played at or remotely near the Championship level.

Yet, Alex McCleish and Birmingham City obviously feel he can make the step up.

Simon Davey and Barnsley F.C obviously feel Bogdanovic can do the same.

I hope so. But I don't feel less of a supporter for stating my reservations on here.

As for Mifsud, he had experience in Norway and Germany before signing for Coventry.

And nor do I expect you to.

Yes, he did. And Bogdanovic has had experience playing in Italy and Bulgaria before signing for us. He's also played along side Paulo Di Canio.

    Good times.

get behind em, tha not a reyt supporter thee

must confess mister, I am too a bit unconvinced as yet. But we never know he may just be suited to or style and may just be good for us. Cannot see him being any worse than Odejayi...well that would be hard to achieve would it not.

Most of the players from Malta have a decent cross on them (tumbleweed)

RE: Michael Mifsud spent most of his career in Malta.

Mifsud played in Norway for some time before he went to Coventry. I'm not saying the Norwegian premiership is an excellent division but at least its a lot better than the level Bogdanovic has ever played at. If he is any good then I'm surprised he hasn't been signed by a better team earlier on. Now he's 28 and still playing in a **** division.... Before moving to Barnsley of course. I just don't hope this is a panic buy because everthing else turned into dust.

Didn't he play under Di Canio?

If he did play with with him then wouldn't Di Canio have nearly been 40 years old?

Hardly a claim to fame that is it?

Cafu is playing for Grantham (or Garforth) this season, as did Socretes, wouldn't make you want to sign any of their players would it?

Teddy Sheringham was still playing last season, in the Championship.

And I don't know. Garforth have some pretty good players.

I'd say the polish premier league is not a million miles from the championship

It's nearer in standard to the championship than it is to the maltese league

    RE: SFR Yugoslavia.

He was born here Misurata, Libya. Apparently its where his mother is from.

"Daniel Bogdanovic (born March 26, 1980 in Misurata, Libya) is a Maltese professional footballer playing for Bulgarian side Lokomotiv Sofia, where he plays as a striker."
