    He also praises Mellis in the first one because he at least gets back and covers areas. Doesn't expect him to go jumping into tackles but covers areas

    Yes, you're right. Pace alone is not enough. As Wiseman's performances have shown over Christmas.

    But the main adjective that springs to mind when trying to sum us up this season for me has been 'pedestrian'. All over the pitch. An injection of pace, up top in particular is something I'd like to see. We need as many strings to our bow as possible if we're going to again fight our way out of trouble.

    Is it really necessary to have these vendettas against individual players?. We all get that you don't like McCourt and that you are not on your own in having that point of view. On the other hand there are a number of us that take a different view. You constantly trying to support your case is a wee bit wearing to be honest. I don't like the way you tend to be bullied at times on here but you certainly don't do yourself any favours.
