This isn't me old Gimmer thanks.
I'm putting whats been said in a Wilson press conference on Barnsley player.
He's the one who picks the team and hes said that.

Do I agree with him Yes

OK. I was wrong to think that you selectively pick bits out that support your argument.

Hmm. Does this press conference really equate to what has been reported on Vital Barnsley:

"New Barnsley boss Danny Wilson is far from impressed with what he has seen from the current Barnsley squad and is hoping that he is able to make big changes in the January transfer window.

Most of the Barnsley squad know that they are playing to save their careers at Oakwell after securing only two points over the Christmas period.

Wilson has run the rule over most of the players in his four games in charge so far and realises the need to bring in some Championship quality players if survival is possible.

To do this we will need to let players leave, whether that is on a permanent basis or just a loan to free up wages for incoming loans.

It will be an interesting transfer window at the club. Who do Barnsley fans think will be on their way out of Oakwell?

Old Gimmer was making the very valid point that these collection of threads you've just posted were clear attempts on your behalf to support your own case when it comes to your opinion on certain players. Strangely, when Wilson called Steele faultless the other day, and praised Bobby Hassell, I didn't see you posting threads about him doing so. But then, that doesn't fit your agenda, does it?

I'm still waiting for Hassell to let Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer out of his back pocket..

    In my opinion No.

I was typing the things that i really thought would be interested in. I was posting whilst listening and could really only post 1 in 2 or 3 points because i type okay but not super quick.

To be honest Paul, I never read owt from that site.

    It's basically a blog site.

It'd be like me renaming my site 'Crucial Barnsley' and twisting stories to get hits. Does it contain adverts, Vital Barnsley? If it does, I understand what's going on.

In fact, I'm renaming my site 'FREE TITS AND ASS' and waiting for the money to roll in. :)

But there was already a thread created where people were discussing Danny's interview. Perhaps you could have made a few notes whilst listening, then posted those thoughts in one lump post inside said thread?

Not really arsed what you do to be fair, just trying to help. But I can't help feeling with you Phil that you don't want help, and in fact you know full well what you're doing.

    http://www.newsnow.co.uk/h/Sport/Football/Championship/Barnsley

which gives a farliy good round up of Barnsley stories and "Wilson not impressed" caught my eye

    Laughable really!

especially as he says in part 2 of the interview on player that we have the nucleus of a good squad and he doesn't want to dismantle it, just tweak a dew things and freshen it up

I'm always on newsnow, so can't fault you. But I stopped reading the Vital stuff a while ago.

Danny don't sound impressed with Pederson either, not brought much to table.

    Pair of Scott Jones headers?

If he sometimes keeps his head on the end of his left leg I suppose they were both headers.

We're in safe hands. He's been here 5 mins and spotted the changes we needed. Along with full backs not picking up wingers there is no place for ear wiggling in modern football.

What we do seem to miss are midfield runners who are prepared to run past the back four. We seem very regimented from what little ive seen on the tv. Someone like JOB needs to be making forward runs and getting on the end of things.
