Up until this season I'm guessing that season ticket holders were counted anyway whether they attended or not. This season with the scanned cards it would be possible to count the actual attendees rather than the holders, but my point is that attendances don't seemed to have dropped as much as some claim. They will next season though. By a big margin. It's too expensive, too badly organised, and too ****.
Im expecting performances to improve. better tactics, more consistant team selections, players to look like they want ot be there. hopefully results will improve, but the main thing is to sit at oakwell with my kids and not have them ask me to go home after 20 minutes
This is what I thought as soon as I heard the news. We can all speculate but we only see what happens on the pitch and little snippets in the media,( which in my opinion is how it should be ). We don't know what happens on a daily basis behind the scenes. I like Danny, I'm sad he's gone but something isn't right behind the scenes, I don't know what, has there been a disagreement between some people? To me it appears that way as the news came out of the blue, but as I say we can only speculate.
In some way there is some sense in that. If the decision to remove Danny was made it had to be done now. If they had left it another game there was a good probability that they would get three points at Crawley and it would have made it harder to justify a sacking.
I agree. Not beating them this season, having four points taken off them, only scoring one goal and losing from in front. None of it looked good. The board will have seen a team with a much smaller budget showing us how it's done.
More to do with the **** weather than the football being played. I can say that I am voting with my feet after this terrible decision. Won't be renewing my season ticket money next season just for it to be spent on sacking the next manager in 10 months. Never thought I would say that after having my season ticket for the last 22 yrs.. Sick of this short term view..
