RE: I seem to remember

Not for me i'm afraid - ever! did a fantastic job for us when he was here and we will always remember him for that. However history proves that second time around is never nearly as successfull as the first stint. Forget him ever being manager of Barnsley again, it won't, and should never happen. (RIP)

    Never go back

Clarke was one of our most sucessful managers first time round - in fact laid the foundations for the sucesses of the 80's and the side that re-establised itself in the 2nd tier

was only average second time round

Danny would only need to be average to put 2,000 on the gate and take us into the top half of the Championship, Mr Davey is still learning and will at some time come good will it be too late for him? Sorry but with the players in the squad we have now we should have to Queue? to get into Oakwell every home game. Respect to Davey but Danny would give us another option, Good FOOTBALL.

Depends on opinions, sidewards would probably do for now, we would play better football under Danny, giving players more confidence to express themselves( no i'm not jon Barnes lol) We have good players who seem to me are shackled, just my opinion, something Simon needs to address.
