I thought he looked a bit of a liability at times in the first 3 games. Since then though he has looked solid. He is not gonna lose any aerial battles, just too strong. And for some reason he seems to reacting to things a bit quicker than he was early season. Maybe he was taking a bit of time to reach full match sharpness. With Souza in sensational form yesterday and Muller back I felt confident of a clean sheet all through the game. Think we will be ok in defence this year if they stay fit and maintain form, for a change. Now just need to score.

I admit i was one of the ones who slated him after a few games of the season. I thought he was underperforming and wasn't keen on signing him in the first place. But ever since he came back from suspension after his red card against Donkey Rovers, i've been made to rethink. Darren Moore puts in 100% every match, wins everything in the air and is a great asset to the team. He's been one of the top performers this season for me and i hope he keeps up his high work rate.
Darren Moore is pretty limited in what he can and can't do but what he can do (heading, marking and shear commitment) is better than any of our other defenders. Last night their style suited him to a tee because all they wanted to do was lump it forward. I also expect him to have a good game against the blunts. However, where his problems lie are when players get behind him or turn him quickly. Luckily for us Wednesday didn't have the brains or ability to do that last night. I think Moore should be our first choice centre half but always alongside Foster who has more footballing ability and pace. Moore and Souza leave us too exposed to clever and quick strikers (see Ipswich). All in all I like him. He's strong, great in the air, his positioning aint bad and what gets overlloked too often is that fact he is a leader. Just watch him during a game, he constantly talks to the other players and organises the defence. This is something we have had missing for a while.
was a legend last night, especially when he walked down the pitch after their keeper in the "scuffle"
