    I think he is a model pro. He's a good header of the ball unfortunately he doesn't same able through either injury or age to get high enough to be in a position to head it.</p>

    I wonder how much he is on ?</p>

    If not a lot then very worthwhile as an influence around the club (if MR agrees)</p>

    If a lot then the money could probably be better used on younger faster replacements.</p>

    Just my opinion.</p>

    also without the defensive midfield shielding of Colace... yes I know he fecked up against Reading.

    Moore was one of the top earners last season, Howard was moaning that he only wanted similar wages to him.

    Yes he is, never wanted him to sign when i heard we were after him.

    He's past it, he has experience yes but he must be the only footballer who cannot kick a ball properly.

    All he's useful for is heading, as soon as he runs back to goal i fear the worst straight away.

    So yes, give me Denis Souza over Darren Moore any day of the week.

    I cant agree with that at all. Fair enough he's past his best, i dont think anyone would challenge that but he is far from ****. Thats a very harsh criticism of him IMO. His experience and positional play are very good and this does make up for his lack of pace. I think he'll play less and less this season but if i was a manager I'd be using him in a coaching capacity. I think the players look up to him and i think they could learn from him.

    is that more an indication of how poor the rest have been?

    unfortunately for us Darren Moore is not good enough - he would have been in his prime but he's past it.

    Correct.

    although Howard quoted Moore as being on just a tad over 8k. Moore would be a good asset in the coaching side of things if he wanted to remain at the club.

    Doubt Kozluk will be on 8k now with him only being on a 1 year contract.

    Probably on 6k now? I'd assume JCR's new contract has bumped him up to about 8k too.

    You're right about Howard, i heard whispers that he was on 4k and we were prepared to make him one of Barnsley's highest paid player ever. 10k + ?

    So i imagine he wanted to leave all along....

    But don't go complaining like a little girl about being 'crucified' for just stating an opinion. It's not an opinion it's just abuse and if you get it back you deserve it.
