I kind of see your logic here, but SW are the biggest untrustworthy club at the moment so I can't understand anyone with any ounce of dignity would go to S6. Therefore there's only one conclusion, Darren's done it for the money, but surely he realises that they aren't paying their staff, so why go there? He must have been told a huge pack of lies, to get him to jump ship. It's beyond bonkers frankly.
Although I’d be dissapointed to see him go I wouldn’t be too despondent tbh . We seem to have a strategy where the next incumbent can hit the ground running without the upheavals some managers seem to prefer .
I like Darren. I think he's a good coach. Honestly, he could get them out of the bottom 3. There's some bad teams down there who are in free fall, Huddersfield, Blackburn and Birmingham to name 3. Rotherham can't buy a win.
The average life expectancy of a Wednesday manager is about 11 games. He's got 14 left to save them so if they're still in the sh*t with 4 to go, look out...
Yeah, I can see it now. Hi Val, come and join our massive club, we can offer you £50k a week. But would you mind having an IOU for the first couple of months?
Both Darren Moore and Neil Thompson served us well and I wish them every success in their management careers so long as it is not at our expense.
