RE: Do you really want to teach some of these people no but I would like it to teach 'them' discipline and social responsibility for starters
It's highly likely then that I would go to the ovens too but, If a few thousand other misfits were be added to the list I would gladly go and die for the good cause.
R8 gud idea m8 Sorry can't keep that up as I don't know how to, even Laura hates text talk. Unfortunately a lot of parents think sex education comes under the schools umbrella but the schools/teachers can't go into too much detail until the kids are in Secondary school which in a lot of cases is too late. Last couple of times that Laura has fainted or had stomach pains and had to go to hospital she has been asked Are you sexually active and do you think you could be pregnant? Having replied NO to both parts the Doctors then say they have to ask and that she is in the minority as most teenagers of her age are sexually active. (Been asked at Sheffield/Barnsley and Nottingham Hospitals) This is why the Government are now considering giving Secondary school age girls the pill, it won't help get rid of sexually transmitted diseases but would help cut down on teenage pregnancies - the problem is that girls as young as 10 and 11 are becomming mums.
I agree with those sentiments. Thankfully not all "youngsters" are the same. Some do want to "better themselves" and will try their hardest at school and within the community to do so.
teenage girls have always been sexually active under the age of 16, it s afact of life. Whereas say 25 years ago they took precautions and understood thy would be disowned by the families if they did become pregnant theses days they dont take precautions as they know they'll get looked after better than working.
There's an awful lot of truth in that. I can remember leaving school at 16, finding a job and being frowned on by quite a few girls in my school year as they thought it was better to either go on the dole or get pregnant as they would get a house and loads of benefits.
i can remember being at wakefield college and all the asain kids were at it with eac hother like dogs on heat, no babies before marriage.
Very true. Outside Early Learning Centre today a man and woman (about 20) were stood outside playing with the snakes and ladders. I don't think I need to say that they were wearing tracksuits.
This was a great programme. Can't find it all. </p> May be of some comfort.</p> http://www.channel4.com/video/seven-sins-of-england/series-1/episode-1/hooliganania_p_1.html</p> http://www.channel4.com/video/seven-sins-of-england/series-1/episode-1/material-girl_p_1.html</p>
i love how advocates of national service are too old to qualify and too young to have done it 1st time around this isn't directed at you the vast majority who advocate are too old to do it and too young to have been around when it was in force
Problem started wi Maggie letting em buy their own council houses which left them able to move on the property ladder. Prior to that councils used to keep em grouped together so they could only breed wi each other. This left them all with genetic abnormalities. Therefore a certain number of offspring would die early. Natures cull would keep the numbers down. Lets face it Athersley, Kendray rarely bothered the fine upstanding citizens of Pogmoor, Gawber, Cawtrhorne & the like unless they were on a crime spree
