Philips 36, we tried to sign him this season. He was 32/33 when he changed hands for 1m/700k, not under 27 and what were his wages. What was his contract position when he changed hands for 700k? Changed hands for 3.2m when 30. </p>

I'm still frankly bemused how you think we paid too much when I reiterate that you really don't know how much we did pay for him. If he got 13 goals this season, which I would have said was entirely possible, then IF we paid 1.2m it would have been decent value.

We will have paid market price for Hume. No other striker with comparable championship record / contractual / age changed hands last close season for less. Not that I know of. I've asked Jay to name one but he seemingly cant.

The palace game was called off because no fecker wanted it to go ahead, BFC , CPFC, rozzers the lot. Physics defying unmeltable / unshiftable snow ice / snow / mysterious all weather surface aberations had **** all to do with it. If you are daft enough to think otherwise so be it.

I just asked a simple question to establish Jay's basis for his opinion we paid too much for a player. He's not satisfactorally responded though you seem to be backing him up in some attempt at ridicule. I will again say that no fecker on here knows exactly what we have paid for him and if he had maintained his previous good scoring record at this level he would have been decent value.

As for the snow and ice you have brought it up twice in a dig since I last posted on the subject. And i'll reitterate, you are naive if you believe the match was called off because of unchangeable unsafe conditions inside the ground or outwith. Not that I am particularly bothered that it was called off I just challenge the excuses proffered.
