What about some cheeky drinking after the match in the smoke? Or staying in Southend until the last train back, then some more drinking in the smoke?
get off RW's Back.... He is not a world beater by all means, but it was not his fault he was thrown into the lions den against the pigs, but he certainly tried, but no fault of his own failed in a position that would have thrown most left backs. He is better than Hecky full stop, and was until he went off the boil last season (someone once mentioned he lost someone close to him or summat) quite reliable at the left back spot and was getting better and better. Plus we had a certain player called martin devaney in front of that position who never shows any defensive side to his game and therefore the full back was exposed to more than they should be. (and that goes for Macindoe as well) I am not saying that RW should be a regular, but he is another player who has not had a fair crack of the whip in his natural position with the appropriate support in front of him and comes in for some real under the bealt stick. You possibly could say the same for hecky, be he is just **** altogether
RE: get off RW's Back.... I know he lost his dad last year and that affected him quite badly. He looked like he would develop into a decent player but sadly, like so many other promising youngsters, he has failed, for whatever reason to reach his potential and now surely is a candidate for release. Note that I did not question his effort against the Fowls, just the ability. I'd rather question the decision to play him in midfield than blame him for not being able to play there. But then again, the same person also played Kay there.
RE: get off RW's Back.... Yes, Kay was brought up as a Midfielder so it wasn't such a bad decision to play him in midfield. My argument would have been about taking him out of the defence which IMHO is never as good when he isn't in it. I don't want anyone to get the idea that I wanted Davey to get the job but I do think some of the criticism he is getting is a bit over the top, especially when people are suggesting that we should have stuck with Ritchie and again suggesting that Ritchie's record in this Division, is better than Davey's, which it clearly isn't.
Two options I'm going to a party in Islington that should be a laff. Our lass and her two mates are going. Last time I went to one of this birds parties as a single man I copped off twice with page 3 lookalikes (well, they did at the time, p*ssed up mind you).
Your other option is to go out with laddo, who's out somewhere with 2 of his mates from up north.
Or you could do both, party then out with them.
Or a few in Southend, party wit fit birds, then out with him.
Am I selling this at all?

RE: Two options Sorry my eyes went blurred once you mentioned the page 3 look-a-likes! No idea who laddo is, I'm guessing you mean Tim, who else is thinking of going? Would be up for the party in Islington just sleeping arrangements I need to make. What about an hour or so in Southend, your party, followed by more partying?
RE: Two options
Laddo, Moily, I doubt I'd leave the party mate all part of the point earning.
But i could stick around in sarfend till 7ish and you have him out on the town to fall back on should the page 3 girls turn out to be Anne Widdecombe.

You've sold the night anyway I'll speak to mr spreadsheet later on today or just make a decision on the way Would be rude not to take advantage of islington for at least an hour, especially with my track record at your parties
Here we go
You're wondering where you might kip.....party with birds....we've been here before.
