Davey frustrated about time its taking to get players in

Agree with Scott on this Adam would be a great addition n would get a few goals from midfield, Shacknell has impressed me in the past would be good partner for Foster.

All good defenders and none would break the bank.
Nor would Charlie Adam yet we seem unwilling to pay the 500k that Blackpool are willing to pay.
Big rumours on here about Andrenik this week but he wouldn't improve the side IMHO.
We need an attacking midfielder with a goal threat which Andrenik isn't.
If Davey wants Adam then Cryne should make the funds available, or if he really distrusts Davey that much he should make a change in the manager's office. At the minute he seems to be doing neither one nor the other.
Of course something may happen in the next week or so to blow all my opinions out of the water.
Let's hope so.

Don't want Andrenik at Oakwell we got colace n anderson that do same job, can't really paly all 3 as shown last season don't work. Doesn't improve things at all within the squad. Would rather have focused attacking midfielder Adam or Hammil

Sound's like it's abit 50-50 to me, he wants Adam as he's one of Davey's main transfer targets yet seem unwilling to pay the 500k but trying to negotiate a price for him. We've had a 250k bid rejected and a 400k bid rejected so why not add another 100k to it and Rangers will accept the bid then we can have talks with him - an extra 100k isn't going to break the bank is it!

He's only on 5k at Rangers so wages wouldn't be an issue and i'm sure we'd be able to beat Blackpool to his signature, bigger club, bigger stadium, more money. Holloway came out and said today that Adam was 'very, very close to signing' for them so if were to get him we'd better more quickly because he could be joining Blackpool within the week :'(.

It should be relatively easy for him to persuade players to come

all he has to do is point out how we gloriously escaped relegation by the skin of our teeth last season and how he himself despite being in the job for a couple of seasons and is still disliked by a big percentage of the fans and a lot of others are still sitting on the fence.Then he can tell them how despite their playing in their regular position for years they can probably look forward to turning out for us in a totally different area of the pitch.He could also point out the excitement of the mysterious tactics that we employ from time to time away from home oh and the anticipation from the fans as we pile forward as they look to see which game we will score in next! S) S)
