RE: Nobody's been quoted. maybe I should let a poll decide it, then use my many logins to fudge the result.
RE: Nobody's been quoted. My opinions are all over the place mate.
At times last season I wanted him out, but considering everything in the cold light of day and looking at the released list and who he's trying to sign back up I wonder if he's started to think that the inconsistency we've shown can be best addressed by maybe reducing the foreigners in the team and going for a more British based squad. If so, I'll have to say keep him, because I get the feeling that a lot of what's been put in the media and rumours about player bust ups etc is maybe mischief making on the part of someone.
I've said before that I believe a manager needs 3 FULL seasons to get a club and team run how he wants it.
Supporting Davey on the back of last season especially looks a pretty hopeless position, but if he's sacked now I'll be genuinely disappointed because I think things are beginning to turn his way.

Yeah I've got loads of log-ins on my static IP.
I've mass-hypnotised site admin.
I'm desperate to prove that everyone else is marching out of step.

RE: Nothing libellous at all in there. If the Barnsley Chronicle reported I was 'negotiating my severence pay' with XYZ firm. It would be a direct implication I had been sacked and any good legal man would tell you, if this was not the case it would be libelouse.
"is likely to be offered an opportunity to negotiate severance terms." That's all it says. Unless I've missed a bit.
If Davey does go do we take a step back ward ,Don't want long ball game at oakwell. Would rather that Simon Davey ironed out the weaknesses ,Failing to put the ball in the net. open play has brought these chances up .if we took advantage (the players) of these situations would have a better goal average and 1- not hanging on at last 10 minutes. 2 - not dropping off thinking games won and pushing up when defending we would have been in the top half. As the players say they ultimately were to blame for not reacting correctly to managers instructions. If we were all honest quality of football at Oakwell over last season has not being Boring. what we lacked was consistency. We were as good as Reading ,Derby,Wolves,Sheff u,Sheff Wednesday.etc . Failing to score proved out to be the problem ,as well as not pushing up,defending too deep even when the manager harangued the players to push up. managerial tactics gave us success on the field ,made the players better, more skilled, pity didn't show it in results. Footballs a confidence game and some of the strikers needed to be more ruthless ,take the bull by the horns. If Simon Davey Stays he has key points to address, and he admits it knows where the problem is,and quite categorically said so before any info from fans. What we have got to remember he is ,he is New to the role of a Manager .his concentration on match Days is totally directed to the Players and game.Which may seem like he's a little off hand. This is quantified by the players dinner when people saw how nice he was to talk to. Got to agree that he is committed, and he thanks the fans for getting behind the TEAM. we HAVE BEEN MORE VOCAL THIS SEASON in appreciation, and this has reflected in when the players improve and go up a level on the field of play. Some opposing fans have quite rightly said "your too good to go down"appreciative themselves" of our football Team. Totality in agreement on Patrick's comments though .His integrity is to be acknowledged ,and carries my sentiments as a fan.
Ha ha ha ha ha!
You put a lower-case i for the first person singular! Are American? Ha ha ha ha ha!
Everybody thinks I'm great and nobody likes you!

Football this season not boring? I honestly think the football we've seen this season has been among the worst I've ever seen from a Barnsley side playing in this division (the relegation season under Parkin would be on a par with it). We've (with a few exceptions) consistently struggled to create chances and break down teams who set out to defend against us. Also, we've had numerous cases where players have looked lost due to the formation changes (e.g JCR, Anderson, Andranik, Bogdanovic). The standard has definitely deteriorated from last season, and last season wasn't brilliant, but in theory the squad has been strengthened.
"We were as good as Reading ,Derby,Wolves,Sheff u,Sheff Wednesday.etc" I think the league table would say completely the opposite of that.
He is as good as gone. How could he stay with whats been said this week? Lets see what the coming weeks bring to see if it was the right decision.
