kept us up twice and sacking the manager doesn't always work Last time we did in this league we went down!
RE: kept us up twice and sacking the manager doesn't always work Do you want to have a think about that one?
I meant the spackman one sorry Forgot the Ritchie one - still think part our problem has been too many managers - and I don't think a change at this time will work </p>
Got to keep him. See how we are at the end of the season. I reckon his future should be decided on the basis of a full season. We are not in desperate relegation trouble so he is going nowhere. Get used to it.
RE: yeah why not wait until it's too late before we finally get rid nt I fear what the replacement would be. I don't envisage many applicants that we would choose if asked now. It would need to be rushed now to let the manager have a chance of getting some players in. We don't look like going down, as there are worse teams than us again, so we need to trust the setup now to get it right in this transfer window. Who knows what is gonna happen. A change of manager could work but it might be disastrous, do we want to gamble? Or just stick with what, in all honestly, looks like a side who will survive (even if it is only just), until the end of the season and then see where we are. If PC feels we aren't progressing (as it is his thoughts that matter) then he needs to start looking for a replacement. But I think that survival will keep him his job. Personally I think if we are in another relegation battle at the end of the season then he needs to go. But I don't think we will go down. Despite last couple of games being poor (even though we should have beat Soton) we haven't looked like a relegation team. A decent side with no strikers.
