I think you'll find....
...that some people liked him and are happy with the new deal and some people weren't convinced and aren't so chuffed. I'm looking forward to seeing if he's got anything up his sleeve for next season with the new squad he's beengiven the backingto buy because we're league whipping boys at the moment.

Correct Most of the people who are pleased above are the same people who still back Davey. Conversely, most of the people who are very critical of him now are absent from the thread above.
Well I'm not absent from the thread now and don't agree A 4 year contract is a long time. Apart from a fantastic job he's done in the FA cup the league position is 'touch and go' What happens if we get relegated, which is not beyond the realms of possibility, and we do not do too well in League 1. Would all the enthusiastic supporters of him still believe in him. I believe the extended contract should have been left until the end of the season and two years extension would have been enough if we stay up.
RE: Well I'm not absent from the thread now and don't agree I am a Davey fan but still think 4 years is too long.
What is fickle about those posts I did not post anything there , because I did not agree with it, Still dont. In fact if we get relegated I would sack him. 4 league wins in 4 months is shocking.
I think it's great news too cos even if we go down I think we should stick wqith this up and coming manager. If we do go down will the feedback be so positive I wonder?
