    The Tories don't give a **** about the North, except perhaps farming/hunting territory. I'm not saying Labour have been anything like perfect but christ on a bike South Yorkshire has improved under them.

    Well some of the road on the industrial estate at the other side of the were lined up to feed into that 30 years ago

    Schools are better funded than ever...

    the ones I have been near are not short of anything.

    Over-run with foreigners? It's all relative to what has happened before. 80 years ago my Great Grandad walked from Durham to South Yorkshire to find work. He was an economic migrant, albeit from the same country, it is teh same with Poles etc. They are not the enemy.

    things will get even worse.

    Less regulation on banks, more tax breaks for the wealthy, less public spending leading to cuts in front line services and more people out of work etc.

    I wish people would see there is an alternative with the Lib Dems but unfortunately we are in a 2 party state, and given that option I go with Labour every time.

    What was David Cameron's problem with promising a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty? Personally I don't want a referendum but many in his party do and he said they'll have one if it's not been ratified by the other countries but didn't want to prejudice their outcomes - how is a UK party saying they'll have a referendum going to prejudice what happens in Poland or the Czech Republic? Andrew Marr made him look an idiot on that one.

    they are here because empoyers want them here to pay them less. Yet you blame the government and those that come to work, not the firms that benefit from it.

    Trouble with this Country is that today parents are the

    Thatcher children, brought up to say "I`m alright jack, look after number 1 and **** everyone else."

    They have got no morals and its want want want and they have been brought up to that way of thinking, Maggie Thatcher was the worst thing that ever happened to this country, the Tories dont give a **** about how most of us live, just how the top percentage live and as long as they are Ok then sod the rest.
