    what a load of crap

My son goes to a brand new school with superb facilities, would never have happened under a tory administration.

There's NHS waiting lists hardly for **** all. I go to a brand new brilliant GP surgery and its so much easier to get access to my GP than it was 12 years ago its like a different universe.

The minimum wage has simply reduced the number of employers creaming it on the back of cheap employment. I've seen no evidence of things one might associate with low paid workers significantly increase in price over the last decade.

    I think you are deluded.

The NHS is fantastic of that there is no doubt

I have had two operations in the last few years and the service and after care I received was first class

No waiting lists or anything. I was simply told come in tomorrow for the op and it was done.

    I see.

I guess that ironically it is easier to get higher marks abroad ffor English as it is a second language and you cannot compare the two as our English curriculum is built assuming most can read/speak it!

It is worrying though. But not likely to improve under Dave...

Are you seriously suggesting that the private companies are in it for profit?

I am convinced they are providing our gas, electricity and water etc at over inflated rates purely based on a sense of altruism

I don't believe for a second there is any price fixing going on either

Well in your case i apologise that you're experience wasnt the best in the situations and im sorry for you're loss - but at the same time you cannot use your own personal circumstance and apply this to all of healthcare in the NHS.

Secondly you said 18 weeks was cooking the books and now you make a secondary point to hold up you're argument.

    I'll tell thi what

The education I received in the early eighties was stone feckijn age compared to what kids get these days.

My son got free nursery "education" from 3 years old. I was 5 when I got it.

A lot of today's problems lie in society as a whole and the rise of the underclass or thatchers children.

When I've wanted to see the doctor

I've simply phoned up and if I've had reason I've seen a doctor within 2 hours.

When I was a bairn I could turn up at the doctors but could spend half a day in the waiting room, even if I had and appointment

Now when I make an appointment I usually get to see the GP with 20 mins of my given time, waiting in a modern building with a cafe and comfortable seating, not a crowded converted front room of a terraced house as was.

    deluded

Mines the converted front room of a terrace house - when I was a kid it was a purpose built surgery!
