    Nonsense. Putting others at risk, potentially children too. Better to do it alone in a wood somewhere. This might have just been an accident.

    diversion is in place with northbound drivers being asked to follow the Hollow Square symbol taking them from junction 37 to junction 39 - via the westbound A628, north west along the A629 and then east and north east along the A635 and A636 respectively.

    Traffic Incident

    M1 Northamptonshire, northbound between A45 [M1 junction 16] and Watford Gap Services

    M1 Northamptonshire - M1 closed and queueing traffic for 2.5 miles northbound between J16, A45 (Northampton West) and Watford Gap Services, because of an accident involving seven cars and a motorbike. Diversion in operation - via the A45 towards Weedon Bec and the A5 northbound to Kilsby to rejoin the M1 at J18.
