I don't ... but I am willing to bet (as I've said in previous post), that the club has put together a package that is worthy of someone coming from a lower league team where he was nowhere near the highest paid player. I doubt that this will equate to "peanuts". I have no doubt that there are clubs out there who may be willing to throw more money at him - what I'm saying is we shouldn't be criticising Patrick Cryne, Simon Davey et all for living within our means.

RE: Hughes Doncaster Rovers official website said they are interested in him but not for 400K. They have no chance of getting him without paying the release clause. If Oldham sold him at this stage of the season for less than that, the crowds would dip even more. I'm led to believe he's on 2K a week at Boundary Park. Someone even we could agree terms with.
Or he could wait 6 months and in that time break his leg. Thus not being able to pull a wage and lose his value too. a risk if you ask me!
Read the statement!!! It says 'his representatives'. This will be the same agent that went to the press about our offer, so chances are he's stirring things up. I think this is a case of us showing the agent that if he's gonna play those games then there are other places we can turn and he can start again. It might just be the move to make Ward have a word with his agent and make him see sense. Ward won't want to get to the summer without something lined up, just in case he gets an accidental elbow to the skull or such like. He's also young and ambitous, so he'll no doubt be impatient with it. Don't think that this one is completely dead just yet. BFC has become quite good at mainpulating the media over recent times.
gready fecker. last year keigan parker turned us down .year before leon constine did same .bet they both regret it now
He's not a free agent in the summer He's under 24 and as such any club wishing to sign him will have to pay a fee.
