He wouldnt have won that with out that team. Him in another team and froome would have won that. From what they are already saying he will not win it next year. Froome will be the man next year. Hes only ever said he won that becuase of TEAM sky.
Hemsworth, I am going to say this one more time. SHUT UP TALKING BALLAX,Wiggins , Cavendish , Froome etc all were World Champions BEFORE SKY!!! Yes the Team Sky have a great team and they are the best in the World at the moment, but Cavendish won more at HTC before joining Sky!!!
Wiggins would have won whatever team he was riding for. It was set up for him, time trials, loads of flat stages, not many killer hills. The organisers have already said it will be more hilly next year to nullify him.
Well you seem to know more than the rider and the team. He said he only won it becuase of the team. He will NOT win next year on the layout team sky think. They will ride for froome next. didnt really watch much of the racing but watched the stiff after and they showed you how the team sky riders stuck together.
Right so you don't know, then re read my last post. With the time trials and flat course it was set up for Wiggins. Next year it will be more hilly and set up for someone else.
Hemsy has jumped on the cycling band wagon this year because SKY (not bothered about the riders) were gonna win the TdF, watched a few stages, watched a few interviews and is now an expert on it. He is incredible. He is also a SKY bum boy to level it up.
Watched it a few years really on euro sport. When Lance the cheat Armstrong was taking drugs like no tomorrow. But dont let that stop you posting bull ****. I listen, i learn. im not daft enough to think i know more than the head of team sky and brad W. like ryhill mark you ........
I smell ******** in your post from here. You haven't watched any cycling. You listen and learn, good one, proper tickled me that. Where have I given any opinion on team sky? I haven't. Do you always have to make stuff up? I notice you don't deny being a sky bum boy, it is undeniable.
How many times, the course determines who the team want to win, **** me. And I wish mr Armstrong was reading this, that's very libellous.
I'm not even a fan of cycling so I know next to nowt but I've got just a couple of points. 1. Those who run team sky are guaranteed to say that team sky helped them win. He's hardly going to come out and say 'actually we've all wasted our money, they were brilliant without me anyway. In fact I don't know how i've managed to steal a wage for so long. I suggest you sack me tomorrow'. Is he? 2. People who win things, unless they are big headed ****s that nobody likes (such as the self loving footballers) tend to be a bit modest and gracious in victory. This generally means that they say things like 'I couldn't have done it without....' or 'It's a team effort really'. This doesn't mean that that is necessarily the case, i'ts just being gracious and trying not to look like a lovely person. Do you really think that people who win oscars really think that the guy who passed them a bottle of water on set really deserves the oscar not them? No of course not but its a human thing to do, play down your victories and tell people it was a team effort. ps, Rio the cheat Ferdinand.
Wiggins does not play down things. Hes already come out and said im a role model, not even Messi says things like that ans brad wasnt prompt. He said before time trail, i will win this im the best. Hes someone who isnt scared of hurting people. mark cavendish fell out with him after 08.
Wiggins is the best TTer in the world this year. Whether a fully fit Tony Martin or Fabian Cancellara would beat him is up for debate (both currently have injuries). Team Sky was also the strongest team this year, and Wiggins the strongest rider. Froome has massive acceleration on the steep slopes, but we do not know if he could put enough time in on the slopes to make up for the losses on the TTs. He might go faster but cannot keep it up forever and a steady Wiggins could catch him up again. Remember that Froome and Wiggins (+ Rogers, Porte, Boassen-Hagen, Knees and Siutsou) were all training together in Tenerife and racing together for most of the year. All were in agreement that Wiggins was the strongest on the team... Next year it will be steeper, but I'm not sure if Froome will do the TDF. He might be the lead rider for Sky on the Giro (steeper mountains) with his own team (like the Vuelta this month). He will be the second British grand tour winner, but he is also not British by birth.
