Dunno if I just didn't notice, but Jennings didn't stand out as a weak link to me. After the first 25 minutes, and until Cole came on, I thought we were outplayed in every area of the park. Football is about winning the battle with your opposite number. For about 45 minutes every MK Dons player was better than the Barnsley player marking them or the Barnsley player they were marking. Quicker to the ball, stronger in the tackle, better passing, more skill, better movement and all our players struggled. Sometimes that happens. It's not often it results in conceding 5 at home, but it's not often you gift the opposition 3 goals like we did today. I don't think Jennings played well today, not by any stretch, but I didn't think he was any worse than the rest of the team who, for a long while, just couldn't cope, probably because a lot of them had never encountered such quality before. Having said that, I thought Nyatanga played well, he just didn't have any protection.
I would love to know what he's eating/ drinking. For a professional athlete he looks like a pub footballer. I do hope he's not going to mess up the undoubted ability and skill he has, by eating and drinking the wrong things. He looks unfit. That said, none of the players could really come out with much credit today, but at least the others actually look like athletes.
