Who exactly has taken an under 5 to Oakwell, had said under 5 hit by a ball and sued the club? I never heard this story.
Ok, who has made an unsuccessful attempt to sue BFC after their under 5 was hit by a ball at Oakwell?
I never said they'd been hit by a ball either, I just know in the past individuals have tried to hold the club responsible for injuries sustained by their children while inside Oakwell. I apologise in advance for not being able to supply their names and addresses. Either way, I still stand by my original statement of backing BFC in this argument. Disgraceful a "fan" would ever drag his own club through the press.
All i want to do is follow the club i love with the people i love! Its not rocket science, the club is just being stubborn. If the club allow me to get a season ticket i will donate the same amount to a charity of the clubs choice. Remember, there are under 5's going this season with season tickets, you tell me how health and safety affects my son but not these kids. Don't get blinkered on Mr Rowings defence, it is flawed on all counts. The club can solve this with one gesture!!
Clever response. Ignore facts and dont look at how club are acting. Theres being a 'fan' and theres being ignorant, give yourself 5 mins to decide what you are?
At least you got your 5 minutes of fame, bet you've kept the paper cut outs too havent you and put them in a frame, pathetic.
The reason given by the club was flying balls. you tried to make out that you agreed with their stance and reasoning because it had happened in the past. Now you admit that you are not aware of this ever happening. You are an happy clapper. Can't knock BFC because they sold you a ticket online via the mystical powers of email (which other companies have managed for upwards of 20 years now). Barnsley are WRONG in their stance and reasoning and you know it but will say anything to pretend that they are right even when you know you are just making things up and changing your story.
The Club doesn't need anyone dragging it though the mud it can do that quite nicely on its own. Jason Dale should be applauded for his stance. I fully support him. My Granddaughter had a season ticket at 6 months and the Club charged £35. A mate of mine broke my personal 6 months old record at Oakwell when he brought his 10 week old to a match. The club have treated its fans with nothing but contempt over the last few years. Some of the reasons they or Rowing gives are a joke. I sat in the East Stand upper from its opening to a few years ago and never saw a ball get up there so why can't under 5s be seated up there or in the West Stand? If they allow players children into the ground then surely they are discriminating against our future fans. Barnsley Football Club are a joke.
Problem is we're only hearing one side of this story, which I'm sure is very biased and we're missing a balanced view. Maybe you should wait until your kid is 5 years old then take BFC a copy of his birth certificate so you can get his ST?
But how far do you want to go with it? You have spoken to the club now you have told anyone who will listen and report it. What about letting Dan Jarvis MP have a look at it.
Its like explaing stuff to frogs! The club already allow under 5's in! Ther will be under 5's in this year. You are choosing to highlight the media thing when if you are a fan and not a puppet you'd be wandering why Rowing won't take my money! Forgot how rich a club we were. How much did we bid for RVP before he chose elswhere.!
