    Correct, but the end result is the same ... He was ineffective for a large chunk of the season. He's now showing what he's capable of at the top of his game.

    yes, hmmmm i dont think it was down to effort thought as someone put. I think he could have been trying too hard which made him not play is natural game.

    i thought he might have passed out on the pitch on saturday with the amount of running he did and the baking heat.

    Let me see if I have this right H/T?
    O`Brien was playing exactly the same last season, but the same things he did last year were not as good early on in the season, then it was the fans fault he was *****?

    no, things didnt go for jim. last season that cross on saturday wouldnt have reached gray even though he would have done everthing the same. Things like this happen in sport and yes the fans did affect jim.

    So what you really think is, O`Brien is playing a lot better this season than last season, because he could not cross the bloody ball last year!

    he crossed some wonderful balls last season Mark tbf but they just werent converted in to goals.
    These things happen in sport.

    i'm sorry you too, but i went to every home game and i can't remember all these wonderful crosses.
    i remember him having an absolute stinker against scunny amongst them all too.

    Clearly everyone including himself believes he had an ineffective season last year... Apart from you and hemmsy.

    To be honest I don't think anyone here is saying he's rubbish ... Just he wasn't very good last year.

    and i would say then they havent a clue.

    its not hard to see who these people are. anyone who moans about points after 2 games and league tables after 5 are plain deluded and these are the aame people who were on at jim.last season.

    he does many good crosses in games but some of the cluless only talk about a cross if we score.

    its like gough said on ts. it used to wind him up when people just tallked about wickets. he used to write what he did in the matches and not worry about the tickets tacken like the fans did.
