I'm not buying that face down and upside down are synonyms.

 

Course they are, back to front is like having the buttons of your shirt going up your back, being face down/upside down is like doing a handstand

The wait in the queue was very frustrating. However, when I got to the turnstile operator he was 70 if he was a day. He wasn't incompetent, he just wasn't used to the technology. He looked a hell of a lot more pissed off than any of us in the queue and all he was getting from us punters was hassle. He's doing a job he doesn't particularly enjoy because he wants to help out the club he loves. At this moment in time he doesn't need us getting on at him, he just needs a bit of extra training and a bit of patience from us while he gets used to the new system.

 

**** that. I'd sack him me. Then ban him from Oakwell and make him vote UKIP.

 

Just wait while the cards start getting a bit worn - carnage.

Every person on the turnstiles should be treated with respect, they've been there for years, low paid if not a volunteer, and they have to deal with plonkers like you.

Well im glad you took my obviously and deliberatly over the top self titled pointless rant in the manner it was intended.

Ps How do you know which turnstyle operator I dealt with at the weekend? Thats a bit weird isnt it?

 

They are paid to do the job plus gain free entry to the match so it does work out worthwhile for someone who would otherwise pay in.

As worker's they do deserve respect and I can also confirm that some of the fans have the brains of a turd.
