Not a second team but I used to go and watch Newcastle United occasionally when I was at Uni. My first year there was when Keegan got them promoted to the prem and the atmosphere around the toon at that time was amazing. I've never been anywhere where there's a passion for football like there was in Newcastle at that time. It was infectious - standing on the Gallowgate the atmosphere was electric. I went back for a corporate jolly a couple of years back and and was amazed at the development of St James's Park - but the atmoshpere seemed to have died completely.

RE: He's been done there, mate! Sounds interesting - my Spanish history is somewhat sketchy, to be honest! Homage to Catalonia is about my limit!
Huddersfield......... as it would be wrong of me not to want to see my hometown do well and join us in the championship.
Spurs - Just because i really enjoyed watching them in Europe last year. Liverpool - Same as above really but have had it from a young age due to family
don't know about a second team but arsenal because of dennis bergkamp blau weiss and any team that has an ex red
Newcastle are my love-to-hate team. Them and Allardyce deserve eachother. I studied in Newcastle and lived very near the ground. I went to the last few games of Ossie Ardiles's reign as manager but was frogmarched out of the Gallowgate during Kevin Keegan's first match in charge. The match was a sellout and I shouted something in a non-Geordie accent. Some pissed scumbag a fair few rows infront turned round giving it "Who the f... are you? What the f... are you doing here? There are proper f...in' Geordies locked oot today because of you" So I politely inquired where his proper f...in' Geordies were for the past five home games because I was there for all of them and don't remember anybody locked out. Despite approving nods from a few others stood round me who I'd seen at previous games, Pissed Boy wasn't happy and tried to make his way back up the packed stand to remonstrate with me. At which point my feet suddenly left the ground and my arms were nearly snapped off by half dozen stewards who had come to eject me. They left the other bloke alone. Needless to say I didn't set foot in there again except for as an away supporter when Barnsley have played them. F... 'em. I hope they go bust.
Fulham, cos when I have watched them on tele, (mostly under Chris Coleman) they have always seemed to be good value for money. Might not be the same now, but time will tell.
