RE: Strange one that

Indeed. I was looking at that page ages ago for some reason or other. It was because he seemed such an unlikely candidate, given his oft-stated reluctance to go into coaching or management, that it stuck in my memory.

I don't know. Maybe you can never know too much about the game and he did it purely for educational reasons. He spends enough time criticising Premiership managers. Perhaps he felt it would be appropriate to hold the relevant qualification to do the job if he were to make a living waxing lyrical about others' inadequacies.

EDIT- Of course Wikipedia could be wrong! But here's my source http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:UEFA_Pro_Licence_holders

    Since Mr davey took over

In spite of the clean sheets, we have conceded 3 goals on three ocassions at home. Under Ritchie - None.
We conceded 5 against Norwich under Ritchie (Kay being sent off 12 minutes) - and 5 against Soton (Nads sent off second half) under Davey.
In each of the 3 goal plus defeats Reid played (except Sheffield Wednesday).
Our weakest central defensive link is Paul Reid.
Davey needs to wake up and realise this is the case.

First time I've seen that list.

    Didn't know about Linaker either.

On Friday I may be meeting up with Dick Bate who is the Watford 1st team coach and is an FA tutor. I will ask about those two if I think on.

We have collected 23 points and are looking a much safer bet to avoid the drop.

Reid may or may not be a Championship defender but Antony Kay certainly isn't.

Defence was our problem. Hecky - out of position all the time, no pace, hesitates all the time and shockingly after all the years he has played there, doesnt seem to understand the role of full back. Reid - no pace, turns like a battleship and just doesn't get tight enough on players. When you have 2 out of 4 that aren't good enough you are asking for trouble. Hassell wasnt on top form yesterday but is a good player (probably better at CB though). Nyatanga is quality. Also the wide midfielders offer no protection to the full backs, they are essentially attack minded wingers rather than midfielders. Although Howard is normally alot better than he was yesterday.

We were never going to win 3 games on the bounce

and i'd rather see us win 1 and lose 1rather than draw draw draw lose which sent us down last time,if we'd drawn aginst Hull Stoke & Norwich people would say we have stopped the rot but we would be in deep ****.

Your right defence was our problem yesterday. However to say Davey is tactically inept i think you are way off the mark with that comment. Seven clean sheets in 18 games says otherwise has does been outside of the bottom 3 at the moment which we weren't when he took over! Also the comment you made about his signings are you saying Nyatanga and Rajczi haven't improved us cos if you are i'm afraid you are very very wrong in my opinion!
