Re: mac laptops

if you're not bothered about gaming...consider a macbook (2nd hand from ebay).

pros:

great battery life
more funky
no anti virus (so internet is faster)
no viruses
no annoying pop up messages from anti virus protection
no bugs
no windows
no crashes
no stupid errors
no lengthily updates
no patches and fixes required
no waiting forever for updates
no frustration
you will have more hair left

cons:
a few dollars more
not for gaming

 

cant do without a few games i am afriad especially footy manager

 

Got 3 in our house!

Mine's a D600 (belongs to work), son's got a Inspiron 1300 can't remember what the wife's is, I've had this one 4 years, had a new keyboard and new HD (I dropped it). Son's had his 3 years, had to have a new screen, wife's had hers 2 years (second hand) never had a problem. All the desktops and laptops at work are Dells. All-in-all I'd say they're ok.

 

Dell are a very good make; very good value for money (Y)
