    It would be a massive shame if the peace process completely failed because you are right, there are some wonderful people in Ulster, on both sides of the divide.

    I honestly don't know, I haven't seen many details of this particular case. Things were different back in 1970s Ulster. It will be extremely difficult proving murder in this case.

    Finally i will admit my emotions are acutely heightened today, and i apologise to everyone for my response here. This morning i visited a friend in the hospice who i have lost contact with over the last couple of years: today was my final contact. Then I spent the rest of the day with my wife at weston park who has been battling cancer so stoically and without complaint since last november.
    So i'm taking a sabbatical from here for a good while.
    You Kestrel are beyond contempt.
