To be honest mate. We have similar tastes in music. ( which covers most genres) and enjoy going to concerts where it’s rare for us not to agree. But When we were courting she was a Bowie fanatic whereas I was into Slade/wizard and sweet. When I asked her I got the usual response. “ HOW THE HELL DO I KNOW” . Such is life.

Yes, big time, ever since the early 80's.

Have most of his LPs. Probably Live at the Old Quarter is my favourite. Brilliant songwriter.

    Christ!
An article in When Saturday Comes last year identified the average age of the football fan was 56. I see from the choices on here it was pretty much spot on.

I like these BBS music threads. Always something new and different to check out. I've bought one or two CDs that I wouldn't have heard of otherwise.

The concept of Desert Island Discs is that as a castaway you have to name eight gramophone
records that are your favourites I believe. I like all kinds of music apart from rap, which I can't
abide. All the selections I made are from the past and whilst some have appeared on CD's since,
the majority were originally issued in disc format.

I think that only 8 records are allowed plus the bible, the complete works of Shakespeare's and one other book.
