    People who rebel and cause trouble after being given a reasonable request were only ever looking for an excuse to cause trouble in the first place. Prime example is the ****s who start kicking off when stewards ask them to sit down because they are ruining it for everyone else. I believe you complained about those very people earlier today.

    I know that you know how it is, I was pointing out that that is why you get searched and asking if you would prefer not to be searched but take the chance of someone else carrying a knife.

    It annoys me sometimes as well, I just said that. It doesn't always annoy me, I normally consider it a minor inconvenience, but when you are profiled and checked based on your age, gender, what you're wearing, skin colour or anything like that, THAT annoys me.

    Doesnt bother me. End of the day they have a job to do on very basic wages just smile. Have a laugh. Move on.

    I don't even see why it's annoying? in my eyes, safety of the fans is paramount and a quick search helps in making sure that no idiot brings a knife into the stadium.

    I Know what you mean - only place that ever happened to me was at Stocklom airport many years ago when I did get searched by a blonde woman who really was quite attractive - only time its ever happened though

    I didn't, although I'm 22 but look 16 I'm assuming it was for 18+ as my Dad and mate got searched. They just waved me through.

    Only time I've ever been searched was at Hillsbrough about ten years ago - to be fair they did pull a few Barnsley fans out of the queue for having knives! There were rumours that they also had an un-cut loaf of bread so...

    I've been searched occasionally going to football grounds, got searched going to the Olympic stadium. Unfortunately it's the world we live it.
