I thought Henderson was decent in both games. Not a world beater but solid and broken up play well. Lets not forget at times he's had four forwards in front of him so he's had to be disciplined. Amazing Roy has been so bold to to be honest, every West brom had him down as an overly cautious manager.

I think they're subtly different players, and the bigger criticism is that Henderson wasn't given the freedom he is afforded for Liverpool. If we try and coerce Henderson in to a purely defensive role for England IMHO we will make the same mistake as successive England managers made with Gerrard at his peak. Henderson needed to be let off the leash more tonight.

If we're calling every manager who's been sacked **** then we'd have a pretty long list. Can just about accept folk being critical of the players, they put in a disappointing performance but to blame Roy is farcical. As I've posted previously he's done what most sensible fans would have done from the start of this tournament. His squad selection, tactics, team selection, media management and general demeanour have been admirable in my opinion. Got little wrong we've just come up short, like we've done plenty of times before with some of the best managers going.

But let's sack another one and see how we get on. See Neville was getting criticism on here earlier and he's never even managed! That's where we've got to now, we're writing off managers before they've even clocked on.

I can understand some of your post. But his tactics have been terrible in both games. We NEVER closed either team down like they did us. He is supposed to have years of experience abroad so he should know what they will do. For me we sat back too much let other teams play and it had cost us. In a way just as someone else said on here just like watching Barnsley over the last couple of years.

Whenever we plat in these competitions we get found out. No hert, no skill and no one who can turn the mach on its head by one quick piece of smartness.

Our players look good at premiership level. BUT how many of our own players are wanted by foreign teams?????

NONE. there lays your answer. We aren't good enough !

Yep both were at it, they were just loads better at it!

Ref was dreadful. How on earth he didn't send their captain off for the second yellow. Very lenient.
