lol, I will shut up, just in one of those moods as the till assistant swiped printing ink twice at the tills on my shop today and ended up paying 50 quid for one ink,she could have done the big bag of wotsits twice ,just my luck
thought shop was dear must have been a Wedneday fan and seen the Barnsley phone case and thought have a double swipe, that will knock the 7 win smile off your face
It’s not like it’s a real leather Casey with the laces in... I’ve had one of those in the face, along with the boot of the opposition and we played on..
I don’t get all this sympathy. He WAS’NT knocked unconscious. Play on. He went down. He put his arms/hands to his face whilst on the ground. Well played ref. Too many bluffers around. Maybe he was hurt for a second. But not much more. Maybe if we came down hard on the con-men maybe incidents like this would get more of a look in. From refs sick to the back teeth of being conned and realising after the fact. Shown on replays. Eg The Bournemouth player against Watford. Bookings ( and in some cases sending offs) given in retrospect after games may put a stop to some of the play acting. Great goal Dee Kay.btw.
I didn’t listen to radio Sheffield but why would he have to delete his tiktok? Players have all sorts of social media, why would that be any different? and do you really think nobody at the club knew he had a TikTok until radio Sheffield pointed it out?
Who’s joking Never said they weren’t. The evidence suggests it wasn’t serious enough and didn’t warrant stopping play. The evidence suggests that. But you lot think differently. Fine. I just don’t agree in this particular case. op “and knocked him out” Evidence please.
Don’t normally stop play instantly; wait for play to stop, and if it drags on, blow the whistle. ref did what I’d expect.
Tends to depend on the severity and the referee. I've seen the game stopped instantly when there's been a sickening clash of heads. In this case I don't think it was obvious what happened in real time. Wasn't until I saw the replay that I could tell he'd been shaken up. Don't think the referee was derelict in his duties. Technically you're supposed to stop the game straight away for a head injury but this happened so fast that I doubt the ref realised that's what it was.
OK, that's pretty clear what happened now. The reverse camera angle doesn't look too severe, strange how it appears sometimes. Anyways, just hope the lads OK.
In summary, none of us know what happened to him. Rightly or wrongly play was allowed to continue and Dike scored. Nothing fortunate about that goal. You could say Barnsley were not unfortunate that their attack was ruled out by an incident that wasn't their fault. Fortune remained neutral
