As outlined in earlier thread he had a career threatening injury but has now made a full recovery. Doubt there will be a question mark over him otherwise Gauthier would not have been likely to recommend we sign him. If it's correct that Huddersfield were prepared to pay £1.8 million for him and we've got him for a " nominal" fee, for me that's a good bit of business.!
I think that it would be incredibly easy for our Club and all its resources to find out who your source is, if they were so inclined. They're often privy to more information than they let on.
Yep and yep. Although if you're friends with or related to someone within the club who could get sacked, why the chuff would you risk their career by posting it on the internet? It baffles me.
I've been thinking the same thing when reading various ITK posts on here and elsewhere as they're essentially prejudicing a friend/colleague/relative's livelihood for "likes". Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy reading who we are supposedly linked with but at the same time I think it's madness and it begs the question as to whether those providing the ITK accounts with information are aware that it's being circulated widely online and if so why they're risking their career and reputation.
'For likes'? Judging the way this thread is going I I'll leave it here and people can find out the old fashioned way. Same people begging for info now slating the people who put it on. Baffling.
That's me done also. Typical Barnsley fans on this board, just moaning at everything. It wouldn't surprise me if some of you moaned about winning the lottery. That's me done! I don't wanna get anyone sacked or owt.
As I said above, I enjoy reading who we're linked with but that's coming from someone who isn't providing anyone with information nor passing information on. I just find it strange that someone would provide anyone with information and say "Here you go, post this on BBS". Your sources are obviously from within the Club and there are only a certain number of individuals within said Club who are privy to that information so again, as I said above, if the Club were so inclined they could quite easily find the source of the leak.
Only a few moaning. As per usual. Thought it was more a discussion about how information gets leaked out. It happens at every club. It creates a bit of a buzz and gets people excited. Some clubs (Aston villa) have twitter accounts specifically leaking information from the "medical department". Clearly you guys are not putting it out against anyone's wishes, so they clearly don't mind it being used.
Well they clearly are as the post further up warns against naming a source as the source could get sacked. Crikey.
Last person I spoke to employed by the club other than when buying tickets ect was Hecky the week before the playoff final and he certainly didn't let on anything there. Everythings my own research that anyone could do and snippets of secondary info that may or may not come out of the club I wouldn't know because I never ask.
If that's the case then you clearly don't apply as you're not leaking information so I fail to see why you're taking the posts to heart. DR on the other hand stated that his man at the Club could be sacked in a response further up, only to edit it thereafter to remove the comment. Odd.
I actually regret saying what I did as I've just spoke to my mate and he says my posts or anyone else's posts do not jeopardise their position at work. There's no issue at all. Infact my mate is reading this and having a good laugh. Mapplewell, you've no need to worry. My source is not and will not be in any type of bother. However, don't be asking me for info anymore like you have done in the past. You've ruined it for the others who want snippets of info.
I have to admit I quite miss it myself sometimes . Its hard not to go looking for things though when it gets quiet.
