what can he change it to no one on the bench with enough quality to change the game ...he starts with his best 11 or should that read the best 11 available unfortunately those first eleven are not good enough

Amen to a bit of rational clear thinking. Not much of it about.

Didn't he have a similar problem at Sheff Utd where his team went an eternity without scoring?

I was all for Danny being here next season but I'm deeply concerned that his "passing football" principles from back in the 90s are a thing of the past - and that I don't think the football we're playing now is JUST due to his view of the personnel.

He's got to take some responsibility for the fact that we have no alternative to a "big target man" upfront. He had the chance to sign a striker on loan and he signed...another big target man. We have nothing different - the only results we've gained is when Pedersen and RNL have been available to play off COG and we know both of those are made of glass. Therefore I think (and not just because he's scored goals out on loan) that getting Danny Rose go was a poor decision. Even if none of us could be sure he was ready, its better than having no option at all to change it.

Within 6 weeks he'd brought in Frimpong and was playing him and Mellis centrally. He'd signed a quick, tall and well thought of winger in Brek Shea and was playing Nick Ze German and O'Grady up front. He'd also swapped Wiseman for McLaughlin and was playing Jennings week in, week out.

That kind of indicates to me the type of football and team Danny actually wants. Pace, out wide and both his midfielders to be comfortable on the ball. And I think with patience, that's what we'll get.

And RE Sheffield United - yeah, they went a while without scoring. But that was after he'd got them to the Play Offs the season before and was sitting pretty in the play off positions at the time of the drought. I imagine at the start of this season when David Weir had them in the bottom 3 they'd have had him back...

It's not an over reaction when it's true.
