    I like the idea that we are attempting to educate racists. But what are the chances really?

    if this kids been brought up in a racist household, by a racist dad and has racist mates, how do we go about reprogramming that?

    asking cos my dad brought me up to believe that no one is better than anyone else. That I should treat everyone the way I’d like to be treated and that hard work would mean my kids got a better chance in life.

    I’d find it impossible to have those beliefs shaken. They’re part of who I am. Likewise my adult kids views based on my values also appear unshakable.

    I think beliefs can change. Maybe not just from being educated in a classroom, but from circumstances.
