    You're a shallow husk of a man.

I bow to your literative skills, as good a summing up of someone I have ever heard.

    RE: what intransigence?

Like you said none of us truly know.

However the board and GS have maintained a constant position from pre-season saying money is available to strengthen. That was said at the open day and several times since. I think they are identifying the targets.

They made cash offers before the deadline.

    4-2-4

People on here are right about the fact 4-2-4 only works if you take your chances. We showed this against Wednesday and especially Luton, ok we were unlucky to lose but we could have been several goals up. Andy is playing a formation that works well for our team, the attacking players get forward but Togwell does well in the centre. If AR bites the bullet and brings in a quality centre forward our problem will be gone. But to call for his head is ridiculous, best thing since Wilson and sacking managers after a couple of bad results has made this club unable to succeed over the past few years. We let AR stay a full season and we go up...Coincidence?

Totally agree about our attacking style.

It's when we back off and try to protect what we've got that we get into trouble.

    "they are identifying the targets"

does this mean funds are only available for players the board wants AR to buy?

    Well done tynetyke!

It is so refreshing to read a post that first of all makes sense and secondly doesn't degenerate into threats and foul language because the poster has run out sensible comments.

    RE: exiting football

It wasn't a Freudian slip, it was a spelling mistake, if I'd said we were playing big **** football on the other hand.

    But

... it doesn't make sense. It assumes exciting football doesn't win games whilst boring football does.
It ignores the fact thet Richie's got us to where we are, a higher division than where we started and in the survival zone with a team that wants to play for him and is scared of no team.. It's unnecessarily negative so early in the season.
    It's so wrong.

    Fully agree mate

Some of the footy we played since the end of last season has been brilliant. Can't remember ever going away from an opening match of the season and thinking i don't feel too disheartened, cos if we play like that every week we shouldn't struggle against the poorer teams.

Hull away was another great performance, even though the ref did his best to dry bum us.

Calling for Ritchie out is absolutely ludicrous, what will be the benefit of that. We've seen it time and time again, calling for managers heads after a poor run of form. The team we have at the minute have more passion and pride in playing for the club than i've seen in a long time.

To get rid of that team spirit would be a joke, sacking a manager who got us promotion would cause a lot of questions to be asked. Maybe something has to be done to improve results but sacking Ritchie is NOT the answer.

And if you disagree well fair enough, but i'm happy to stand by my argument.
Cardiff was the best day of my life and i thank BFC for that, Ritchie included.

    You Reds

    RE: But

I think you should learn to read, it doesn't say anything like that. What it does say is that playing nice football without an end result will have the result that none of us wants, relegation. It never says that boring football is a requirement but it does say that winning games is necessary if we are to gain the success that we all want. Maybe your first language isn't english and if so then I apologise but hope this translation will be of help to you.
