Re: and does it actually say that Danny sent the Voice mail?? From that it reads like Danny wanted him to stay, he wanted to stay, but 'the club' couldn't or wouldn't sanction that. I assume in this new era of openness we'll get the club's side of things rom Mansford, Watkins or Taylor.
Re: and does it actually say that Danny sent the Voice mail?? All we have heard is the Lawrence side of the story. This may well be sour grapes? For me, Lawrence did not do enough in his short spell at BFC to warrant a contract, whether this be in Championship or League One.
Like **** he did. Personally I'd have tweeted him. He loves that $hit. We owe him nothing. Not a cracker. In fact we should get our money back. W.ank
Re: and does it actually say that Danny sent the Voice mail?? He did want him. Apparently he got overruled though so the manager isn't completely managing his team that he will live or die by next season. Whoever told him on voicemail it's still shitty. Tell him man to man face to face. We took the easy way out when withdrawing his contract offer. It's no surprise Lawrence is pissed.
Re: and does it actually say that Danny sent the Voice mail?? If thats the case then Mansford needs to come out and explain why someone in the club is overruling the first team manager. I thought Danny would be a lot stronger than to stand for that.
Re: and does it actually say that Danny sent the Voice mail?? Well, I can understand why Danny might have thought that he had signed two young players with something to prove ahead of the world cup. Unfortunately, neither of those two looked as though they wanted to be here.
Re: and does it actually say that Danny sent the Voice mail?? Got to say I was underwhelmed by Lawrence's performances in a reds shirt... Was a top pro no doubt, but perhaps injuries have caught up with him now he's reaching end of his career... I imagine even reduced terms would be substantial and could be better spent. Good luck to the lad! In Danny we trust...
